WHO: Since 2008, A Precious Child has served hundreds of thousands of children and caregivers across the eight-county Denver Metro Areas – focusing on Child & Family Advocacy, Family Stability, Social & Emotional Well-being, Academic Success and Workforce Development.

WHAT: To kick off the campaign, community leaders and businesses have stepped up to establish a generous matching gift fund up to $750,000 to challenge and inspire others to support A Precious Child’s life-changing programs. WHY: A Precious Child has had a long history of stepping up in the wake of disaster. In 2013, A Precious Child served children, individuals and families displaced by the floods and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, A Precious Child served 42,000 people with over $846,000 worth of hygiene and cleaning supplies. Immediately following the Marshall Fire Disaster, A Precious Child was able to shift focus quickly and set up the Resource Center to help victims of the fires. Our Marshall Fire efforts have helped support 3,585 unduplicated individuals with essential items and have distributed over 5,604 lbs of clothing and $2.4 million worth of supplies and goods. With the rise of job loss and inflation, families who are still rebuilding following the Marshall Fire Disaster of 2022 and COVID-19, along with the thousands of children living below the Colorado Self-Sufficiency Standard, the level of urgency for A Precious Child services are in demand now more than ever! 

All donations made during our Match 4 Mission campaign will go toward supporting our mission of helping those within our community who are the most in need.
