A Precious Child’s Youth Service Leaders are a group of local students passionate about supporting our organization’s mission of serving children and families in our community. The team is comprised of Junior Leaders (Grades 7^th – 8^th) and Senior Leaders (Grades 9^th – 12^th) from schools across the Denver metro area who work diligently to raise awareness for A Precious Child and take action by volunteering, facilitating donation drives, and hosting fundraisers to support the organization.

7^th – 8^th grade Youth Service Leaders are required to:

• Attend Youth Service Leader meetings one Sunday each month from July to April. Attendance at meetings is mandatory with a limit of three absences for the year.
• Complete at least 35 hours of volunteer service at A Precious Child. Time spent during YSL activities (meetings, fundraisers) counts towards volunteer requirements.
• Organize at least one donation drive to collect high-need items (clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, etc.) to benefit the children and families we serve.
• Facilitate at least one awareness activity in your community to share information about A Precious Child and ways for supporters to get involved.
• Secure at least one sponsor to benefit our annual Movie Night fundraiser and market the event to bolster ticket sales.

We are not currently accepting applications for new members to join our team of Youth Service Leaders.

If you are interested in applying for the 2025-2026 session, please complete the Expression of Interest form. You will receive a follow-up in May 2025 with the application.
