Resource Bridge
Providing Basic Needs for Families
We are committed to ensuring children and families in need have access to essential resources. Through three primary distribution methods, we provide basic needs in a way that is accessible, dignified and community-focused.
Program Offerings

Resource Center
Our Resource Center provides holistic support to children and families, helping them work toward long-term self-sufficiency.
Through a cost-free store, eligible families can shop for essentials, including gently-used clothing, food, hygiene items, home goods, toys, books, diapers and baby supplies. Additionally, one-on-one guidance from a Family Services Advocate is available to navigate resources for families like childcare, mental health services and housing support.

Community Distributions
To amplify our impact, we collaborate with Agency Partners by providing essentials through large-scale distributions. This model removes transportation barriers for families by ensuring that resources are readily available through their trusted local organizations. By expanding our reach across eight counties, we support thousands of individuals and families, strengthening community connections and increasing access to vital resources.

Satellite Resource Centers
Located within select Agency Partner facilities such as schools, shelters and hospitals, Satellite Resource Centers provide families with immediate access to essential resources on-site. Unlike Community Distributions, which focus on large-scale fulfillment, these centers are strategically located to offer direct and in the moment support. By integrating services into familiar environments, we eliminate transportation obstacles and ensure that help is available when and where it’s needed most.
Community Partnerships
Create New Paths of Growth
Access to the Empowerment Resource Center is available to families for two years after a referral is obtained, with opportunities to shop every six months. Our goal is for families and clients to take advantage of our other programs to continue to create new opportunities to become more self-sustainable.
Set Up Appointment & Shop
Once a referral is obtained, an appointment to shop at the Empowerment Resource Center can be made. During the shopping appointment, families will meet with a Family Advocate to assist in providing additional resources and provide information about other programs available at A Precious Child.
See the Impact
Our Resource Center schedules an average of 40 families a day, where each family receives an average of $2,019 value of goods each year.
We collaborate with more than 59 Agency Partners to distribute goods through our Community Distributions.
We have 18 Satellite Resource Centers located throughout our 8 county service area.
