Emergency Services Support

A Precious Child steps in to help our communities in need and when in crisis. We are able to respond because of the commitment and outpouring of support from local businesses, foundations, civic groups and individuals.

With the kindness and support of the community rallying to help, we are able to distribute resources and essential items to families affected by natural disasters including floods and fires; as well as providing support to refugees.

A Precious Child is open for Emergency Services Support by Appointment only.

If you have children 18 and under and have experienced a loss due to fire, flood or other natural disaster, (verification required), please email EmergencyServices@APreciousChild.org

Marshall Fire Support and Efforts

On December 30, 2021, the Marshall Fire ravaged the towns of Louisville, Superior and unincorporated Boulder County, destroying over 1,200 homes and other structures. A Precious Child was the lead organization providing support and assistance for those impacted by the fire, serving over 3,585 unduplicated individuals with essential items such as socks, underwear, clothing, shoes, hygiene items, baby formula, diapers and wipes, toys, backpacks, pillows, blankets, bedding, laundry soap, water and food.

THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS

Without the help of our community and supporters, we would not have been able to make such a large impact in the lives of the families affected by the Marshall Fire.

We want to say a huge thank you to Denver7 and their amazing viewers who came together to raise nearly $400,000 for families impacted by the Marshall Fire. With these donations, a housing assistance fund was created, providing support when our community needed it the most.

Due to the tragic fires, hundreds of lives were changed forever. Denver7 stepped up to rally behind them to provide essentials and funds to put them on the path toward recovery. We are so thankful for our continued partnership with Denver7 as they proceed to help us in our mission to empower children in need to succeed.
